One sunny afternoon, sunlight streamed through the window and happened to fall directly onto the mirror. The mirror then reflected the light into the dim space of the room.
In the strong sunlight,
I could see floating dust particles. I imagined how delighted they must be to see their own fluttering forms dancing in the mirror.
On the other side, I could also see the plants—long deprived of sunlight—gently stretching under the reflected light.
The mirror, as a medium, brought sunlight into the room. It reflects everything in the space, allowing all things within it to see themselves through it.
But what about the mirror itself? What does a mirror look like? How can a mirror see itself?
